This
years registration for NWT rally event was 613, which
included 14 youngsters. About 490 attended
the banquet at the University's Commons Building.
And over 260 jerseys were sold with more requests still
to come.

registration payment by cheque. After midnight Sunday,
June 21st, we will only be able to accept payment via

The
NWTR 2009 Organizing Committee is pleased to announce
the commencement of weekly draws for great prizes,
leading up to the Rally in July. Our many sponsors have
donated an assortment of prizes which might be used
before, during or after the Rally. We will conduct a
random drawing from all registrants each week and will
announce the prize and winner's name on this
Announcements page (as well as contacting the
individual winners). Note that registrants will only be
eligible for one prize, and there is no substitution or
cash equivalent for the prizes.
Prizes may be picked up prior to the Rally at Rider's Cycles, 1092 Cloverdale Ave., Victoria, BC, V8X 2T9, or at the Registration Booth during the Rally weekend.

Pre-rally Clothing Orders Now Closed.

pre-rally jerseys
and shorts are now closed. Socks, however, will
be available at the rally Vendors booths. Orders
for either jerseys and/or shorts will still be accepted
up to and including the weekend of the tandem rally for
post-rally delivery. Please include with your
pre-payment a shipping cost of $10 per item, unless
otherwise specified.

Holm will be one of the guest speakers at the Saturday
evening banquet.
“Kris Holm is one of the world’s most experienced mountain unicyclists and is the best-known unicyclist in history. Kris has ridden since 1986 and is considered one of the early mountain unicycling pioneers. He is the founder of competitive unicycle trials (unicycle obstacle riding) and was the 2005 European, 2002 World, and 1999 North American unicycle trials champion. He also held the unicycle sidehop world record from 1998-2004.” For more information about Kris, check out his website.

South Vancouver Island Rangers
Campground.
Located about 10 miles from the UVic campus, this
site offers both tenting and trailer
hook-ups.
