More details on NWTR 2007 Routes will be displayed as they are finalized.  We are planning four days of routes with Saturday and Sunday offering at least three fully supported routes.  We plan to show you many of the treasures the Yakima Valley has to offer.  Photo opportunities of Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, vineyards, orchards, and the Yakima River will abound.

Route Maps are now available:  Thank you City of Yakima GIS department

Please Note:  Saturday's routes will immerse riders in wine country.  Routes will pass more than a dozen wineries with others very close by.  The organizing committee has went to great lengths to ensure that our interaction with the wineries be a rewarding experience for NWTR participants and Wineries alike.  Please be patient as lines will be likely with groups of our size.  Our support teams will haul your purchases back to our logistics center where you can pick them up (picture ID required).

For Saturday's routes we take riders through wine country incorporating wineries into our break stops and providing opportunities to tour a number of small towns, novelty fruit and gifts shops, and of course wineries along the way.  It goes without saying that our support teams will be happy to transport any purchases you make on the ride, so that they arrive safely to our starting point.

Sunday's routes will immerse you in the Upper Valley.  Cherries will be getting ripe, wild flowers should be visible on the ridges and the "off the beaten path" experience will be rewarding.  Sundays routes are not to be confused with our Yakima Ridges Century Routes, which are not designed for tandem teams!

These routes will be relatively flat and appropriate for tandem teams of all ages and skill levels!!  We intend to have 3 or 4 routes on Saturday and Sunday ranging from 30 to 75 miles with frequent break stops and plenty of sanicans.
